As a part of this committment, we are proud to introduce our Outdoor Membership. For a one-off annual fee you can not only have unlimited* access to our boats and facilities but can also be assured that your money is being used to also get others more active. SWAC is just one valuable resource owned by the residents of Southampton and with your support we can continue to grow and help those that find getting active difficult through schemes such as Sailability and Paddleability that regularly get special needs groups and individuals on the water.

Sailability

Southampton Water Activities Centre launched "Sailability" - a Sailing scheme for people with disabilities within the city. Having initially started with just two small dinghies, new funding has helped the fleet of boats to continue to grow and we have recently been able to purchase a new Paralympic class keel boat for the scheme. The Centre is now able to provide specific equipment to cater for young people and adults with all kinds of disabilities, many of whom would never have believed they would be able to Sail and experience freedom and independence out on the water
