Course Overview:
A course in astro-navigation and world-wide meteorology. It assumes a
knowledge of all subjects covered in the other shorebased courses.

Yachtmaster/Coastal Skipper Shorebased Course (Evenings)
Course Overview:
A 24 week advanced course in navigation and
seamanship which will prepare you for the course completion certificate. Numbers are
limited to twelve people per course. Open to those with previous experience of practical
and theoretical navigation.
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Qual: RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore Shorebased Certificate

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Days: Mondays
Dates - 2008/9
Monday 22nd September 2008 for 24 weeks (approx finish March 09)

Day Skipper Shorebased Course (Evenings)
Course Overview:
A 22 week course in navigation, meteorology and
seamanship theory covering the RYA Day Skipper syllabus. Numbers are limited on only
twelve people per course. Open to those with little or no previous experience.

Fastrack Navigation Courses (five day intensive shorebased course)
Course Overview:
A course ideally suited to busy people who cannot find the time for the
traditional winter evening classes. It is an intensive week of theory at our purpose built centre in
Southampton following the RYA Dayskipper, Yachtmaster Offshore or Ocean Shorebased Theory syllabus.
Course numbers are restricted to a maximum group size of four-six persons. This enables our instructors
to give you more individual attention and help you to learn more.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Qual: RYA Dayskipper, Yachtmaster Offshore or Yachtmaster Ocean Shorebased Certificate
