Working for Us
SWAC is managed by the charity Active Nation. It is a purpose built watersports centre situated in the heart of Southampton's historic waterfront area adjacent to Ocean Village Marina. The Centre operates on the lower reaches of the River Itchen and Southampton Water offering watersports and outdoor activities to schools, colleges and the local community.
The Centre is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association for Dinghy Sailing, Powerboating, Shorebased Navigation, Sail Cruising, First Aid, Sea Survival, Radio Communications, Diesel Engine Maintenance and Instructor Training courses.
If you would like to join our enthusiastic and committed team of instructors and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as sailing and/or powerboating instructor qualifications we would like to hear from you.
You should be a qualified RYA instructor or senior instructor with experience teaching both young people and adults.
Start dates for casual staff throughout the year with full time staff needed during the peak summer months.
