Activities on Offer

• Powerboating:   Discover the excitement of learning the skills required to drive a powerboat in different conditions. A qualified instructor will take you through your paces, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification, taster or navigating a trip. Powerboats range from the 4 metres in length upwards and instructors will always be onboard.
• Sailing: Feel the power of the wind in your sails and experience helming a dinghy by yourself or with a partner. Learning to sail can be exhilarating and fun. Safety cover and tuition provided throughout. Any ability welcome, can also count towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s award scheme and areas of the key stage curriculum.
• Raft Building: Use your initiative to grasp the challenge with your team to build a raft from a selection of logs, barrels, windsurf boards or canoes in an alternative location and paddle your way home. Equipment use can be tailed to meet group/individuals needs.
• Kayaking: Get on the open water in one of our fleet boat with guidance and enjoy paddling around on the open water, enjoying a taster or work towards a certificate. Get to grips with making your boat go where you want it and build your confidence. 
• Rib Trip to IOW: In your team navigate a exhilarating high-speed passage using charts, bearings and GPS from SWAC to the Isle of Wight. Where you could stop for food or an ice cream before heading home. Everyone gets to steer and skipper on the way, this could be used for problems solving or a reward for a group.
